I have a very pushy friend, who keeps telling me to write more lyrics and poems, so heres my newest

[Insert Title Here] - Sonnet

As the world slows
The darkness of night flourishes
The eternal breath flows
Beyond the night-times hush
While you lay awake
The memories replay.

The terms of this are these:
This ever rotating mind
Shall be quietened
The sun shall fall from above

For why, It isn’t wrong
It is a mere choice we take
The apocalypse looms
Unless we dare to wake.

very interesting piece.. I had to read it a few times.. cause it was tongue swisting at some parts.. but I like the mood of this piece, and the ending line was pretty cool..

I agree with the abopve comment, its a really interesting piece and i had to read it through a second time to understand it but it was worth it
