These poems and songs are the only true look into my soul. I deleted the original thread, becuase I didn't want so many people to see inside. Some of these are happy.... Alot of these are depressing.... A few of these are inspirational.... All depending on how my life was going when I wrote it. Anyway.... Here they are:
TOSSED ASIDE
I look deep into your eyes
And I see no feeling at all for me
Lately all I want to do is cry
What happened to that spark of love that I used to always see
I try to dry the tears from my eyes
but sometimes they just fall like rain that never wants to cease
Do you see what you’ve done to me?
Why does it feel like you never really cared?
You were the only reason left for me to breathe
But you turned away and tossed aside the love for you I bare
The state you left me in is choking me, killing me slowly
I don’t want to live anymore, I wonder if you even care
ALONE
I’m alone once again
And my heart, I can’t defend
Though I showed you love, my pain was all that could last
It left my heart in pieces, shattered as if it were glass
For a short while, I was happy
Then you turned around and left me
As painful as it is to see, I know we weren’t meant to be
But that doesn’t help I feel, my soul is empty
I can’t take this life anymore
All these tears have left me tired, my eyes sore
My body, my soul is drained, I just want to die
I think that I’ll just slip away, I’m too weak to fight |

ya definately have a certain *umphhh* for writting....
the theme seems to be the wonders of being alone
and the poems tie nicely into it. ya also have one hell of a
stanza structure for the first poem AB AB AB CD CD CD....
it's pretty hard for some people to keep that up...Huta...

Wonderful poems, wonderful Tainted Soul sig...but FUGLY Ice Empire logo. God, that thing just makes me cringe every time I see it...

This is my latest poem. It is named after one of two s/n I use here, Tainted Soul. It's kind of short, but don't hold that against me. I am currently working on the lyrics to a song named after my other s/n, Winter Nights.... That one will be posted later.
TAINTED SOUL
The darkness beckons
The shadows calls
My will is broken
Shattered by the fall
But I still have hope in this life
For hope will never leave me
I will make it through all the pain and strife
And someday this tainted soul will be free |

Yes, my dear Lorelei... "Angelic Harmony" will be written when I finish "Winter Nights".
For now... I'll post an old love song to whom "Tossed Aside" and "Alone" were written about.
