actually Matt, i know you're a little high on heroic justice at the moment, but if you'd care to read more or even look around the other threads a bit, you'd realize that Squall is far from innocent. granted, he wasn't doing anything downright awful, but a measly 5 day suspension is nothing terrible either. Meru's only real error was neglecting to discuss it with other staffers first.
why don't you go take a cold shower or something? you'll feel better.

Maybe you don't get in what I've been saying.....
I've agreed to, suspend him for 5 days for causing shit OUTSIDE THE SP7 area. I never agreed to stuff that's done in here, but outside(SP7) on the forums itself.

Now, if this was in the SP7 area that would be ok, but it wasn't and a few others. I'm trying my hardest to "try" and be the middle man for what is going on. It's not like don't understand where you guys are comming from, but there was also an thing saying spam ok in SP7, no where else should it be ok.
I'm just trying to do my job and try and keep the peace. And I'm sorry if sometimes I need to me "THEE BITCH" and I hate doing it, but sometimes you're left with no choice.

2 days would be better.
However, I feel that he should be unsuspended or perhaps just sent to prison.
Send him to prison.

I'm pretty sure suspended members can post in prison.
I still agree that a suspension is a bit over-the-top, though.

2 days for some spam, sure. 2 days for continued spam that blatantly flames other members in a 4 year old thread, among the others that he graced with his incomprehensible posts? nah, i'd say 5 won't hurt.

Did anyone even bother giving him directions on how not to post before suspending? If so, it certainly wasn't noted in the staff forum. In fact, I don't see anything about this at all in the staff forum.
I agree the flames are a bit over the top. But come on, he's obviously a n00b. He doesn't know better.

Actually, I PMed him about his double posting... which he subsequently stopped doing.
At any rate, Squall_The_End is unbanned for the time being, pending proper input on the matter from the rest of the staff... which should have been what happened in the first place, but for some reason didn't.
