Hails to all,
I am new here so I will introduce myself. I was introduced to FF 12 years ago when I played FF3/6 on the snes. Along the way I've played 7, 9, 7Doc, and 12. All are exceptional, though 6 still is my favorite.
I am of the mentality that would have no problem with FF games having sequels, so long as they are done well. I will admit that Advent Children was poor, as they did little but revive the original's dead villian to make the story. (c'mon create some original antagonist). I liked Dirge of Ceberus for the reason of its adding to the original story without a Sephiroth revival.
I would have no problem with an FFVI sequel if it was done correctly, though given the low quality of writing that Squenix has been doing recently I doubt they could pull off something decent.
I mention this for a reason. I have been writing my own ff6 fanfic sequel that I would like to share with you on these forums, as I have been getting many compliments. However, I ask before it posting becuase it's by no means a kids' story. It has scenes of violence, strong language, and suggestive matter, as well as some deep moral/philosophical themes some might view as contraversial. Are you open to having such stories posted here?
