n00b HQ: Boot Camp V.3
The n00b Boot Camp is a friendly club where we advise all new members of the forum to join in. The main purpose of the club is to prepare newer members of the republic for becoming future veterans, and to help the newer members get to know the veterans better and make each group feel more involved and connected with the other. It's worked successfully in the past, take a look at the first edition of the camp, and if you wish, there is a second edition of the ever so successful n00b Boot Camp.

The Guide's Code of Honour
A guide must be a very laid-back member, prepared to give up time through PM, MSN and AIM to guide the newer members. If you fail to bother, then you'll be immediately removed from training the newer members, and it probably won't benefit your reputation much either. In order to become a good guide, you'll need plenty of time, effort and patience. When both you and your newer member feel that they have evolved into the spirit of FFRepublic, the newbie is free to become a trainee guide themselves.

n00bs
You have the right to ask any questions you want to your guide. The idea is for you to become friends with them, find out how things work and how the forums work as a whole. You can ask about the history and other members, and expect an answer on many of the most important questions. This way, when you've graduated from the camp, you can make friends easily knowing pretty much everything you can possibly know about the Republic. If you feel a guide isn't doing his or her job properly, then send me a PM, reporting what problems you have in as much detail possible. Thank you.

To become a guide, you need to meet the following requirements as per rank.

If you're a newbie, and wish to join. Then feel free to post in here. You can assign yourself to a guide manually by request, or just post and a leading guide will pair you up with a guide.
