Where to Post? A New Member's Guide to FFR

You, the new member, may feel overwhelmed by the many forums that Final Fantasy Republic has to offer. It is this feeling that inspired (for lack of a better word) me to write up this guide for the new member. I know how hard it is to find the proper place to post, so below, I've listed all of the forums and when to post in those forums. Take a look for yourself!

All news regarding Final Fantasy and the Square Enix company in general will be posted here. Feel free to comment on news.
FFRepublic Events Forum
Contests and events will be announced in this area by moderators. You should only post here if you're commenting on an event or have a question regarding an event.

Republic Headquarters
News and updates to the board will be posted here by administrators. You can comment on the news or updates, if you wish.
New Members Inn
Where you're standing now.  The New Members Inn is the forum for newbies to post introduction and farewell threads. For those who have already been members of FFR for awhile, it is a forum to welcome the new members.

Members who made their departure can announce their comeback here.
Yevon Arena
Yevon Arena houses all of the clans of FFR. The subforum "Club District" holds all of the clubs. You can join a clan and/or club at any time, but you must meet certain critieria to start your own clan
(read the sticky in the clan section for further information). Clans and clubs are fun groups dedicated to a single person or thing.

The Club District is the home of all clubs. As stated earlier, clubs are fun groups of people who dedicate themselves to a single person or thing. Of course, you are allowed to join more than one club. Read the sticky in the section for more information.

SquareEnix Chronicles
General SquareEnix Discussion
This is the place to discuss anything Square Enix related. Kingdom Hearts and Chrono Cross are examples of Square Enix games. Remember that FF games have their own sections.
General Final Fantasy Discussion
As noted by the title, this area is designated for general Final Fantasy discussion. "Best/Worst/Favorites of Final Fantasy" threads are located here.
Final Fantasy I-VI
Used for discussing Final Fantasy games I-VI (1 to 6) in the series.
Compilation of FFVII
Used for discussing anything relating to the game Final Fantasy VII. Spinoffs such as Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, etc. can be discussed.
Final Fantasy VIII-IX
Used for discussing Final Fantasy games VIII-IX (8 to 9) in the series.
Final Fantasy X & X-2
Used for discussing Final Fantasy games X and X-2 (10 and 10-2) in the series.
Final Fantasy XI-XIII
Used for discussing Final Fantasy games XI-XIII (11 to 13) in the series. Upcoming Final Fantasy titles will be discussed, so watch for spoiler tags.
Final Fantasy Spinoffs
Used for discussing Final Fantasy "oddball" games including FF Tactics, FF Tactics Advance, and FF Crystal Chronicles.

For the music lovers! Here, you can post on all topics regarding music. Your favorite (and least favorite!) bands, artists, albums, and upcoming groups can be discussed.

Anime and manga discussion. Everything about Japanese comics and cartoons can be discussed, whether it's a mega hit or a new publication.
Gaming Coliseum
Gaming! Every member of FFR is bound to have played at least one video game in their life. Discuss all games and consoles from old school to new school.

Current events and serious issues. Take part in debates and heated discussions on politics, values, and current events.
The International Republic
Costa Del Sol
The traditional General Discussion forum. This is the place to post on anything under the sun. Off topic discussion is the key to discussion here, but spam should be posted in Sector 7 Playground.

Love and relationship has its own discussion forum! Give tips to other members or ask for help on a range of issues regarding love, friendship, marriage, and dating.
Sector 7 Playground
Short, off topic, and meaningless posting. Sector 7 Playground is a great place to relax and post without restrictions.

If you enjoy roleplaying, then this forum will be your home. You can start your own RPG story, as well as take part in existing stories. Be sure to post your character biography here, and not in the main forum.

For beginners. If you're new to roleplaying, you can get your start here. Any questions you have relating to questing or RPing in general can be answered here.
