You can always look in the Midgar Library and read the FAQ (which talks about RP) and to ask questions there.

Hey there!! Welcome to the forums!! (love that av)

Anyway, yeah, the mods tend to close down threads about questions dealing with RP and experience. In a nutshell, you can only get RP from others (being a good member or begging really badly)... and the rest you get from the battle system which isn't up yet. But go check out the Midgar Library - it should have all the info you need...
