I'm definately looking forward to it.
But Square haven't released a single piece of new information on the game in months, which has me a tad worried... |

| Zidane is my fave character and so i'm glad he is in it. It is a beat-em-up right? |

Yes, it's a fighting game.
I am hoping Square is gonna come out with some more information on it and hopefully a release date sometime soon. |

| I'm looking forward to it, but not as much as MGS4 or FF13. I'm going to buy it, but I may not be so psyched as to pre-order. It's going to be interesting, if nothing else... |

Solaris Paradox
SOLDIER operative, 1st Class
Current Status: Missing In Action
- Weapon: Raiden - Description: A mechanical katana with a small trigger on the handle that runs an electric current through the blade powerful enough to instantly stun most human opponents. This weapon is capable of instantly switching between lethal and nonlethal styles depending on the needs and desires of its wielder, and has a Triple Materia Growth Rate, but only has one Materia Slot.
- Armor: Dragon Bangle - Description: A bangle intricately hand-designed into the likeness of the dragon, Bahamut, its magical resistance to attack matches many high-class armors and is complimented by a slight addition to the wearer's agility. It has five materia slots with two linked pairs and a Double growth rate. This bangle was a gift from a trusted friend.
- Limit Break: Solar Flare - Description: A blazing flash of blinding magical light is followed by any one of a series of devastating, lightning-quick sword techniques--a style of attack loosely derived from the limit technique known as "Fire Cross."
- Combat Style: Focuses on materia designed to enhance or sustain physical prowess or inhibit the enemy's, using offensive magic only as a situational standby. Prefers an in-your-face quick-slashing method of assault over all else, though is always open to improvisation. He always keeps his Bahamut Fury materia equipped to his bangle, but mostly out of sentimental value--he rarely uses it, even in extreme circumstances.
- Favorite Materia: Any varient of Assault Twister, particularly those accompanied by potent status effects.
- Favorite Summon: Bahamut, in all of his forms.

I'm not anticipating it too much since I busted up my PSP and since Crisis Core wasn't too good of a play. Story was appealing, gameplay was ****.
Just can't drop the feeling that Square is just going to be throwing more **** out the window with this release.

That's a matter of opinion. I think Crisis Core plays awesome--the Star Ocean/Kingdom Hearts-esque Action-RPG style was done really well. The Mission mode was repetitive and simplistic, but perfect for on-the-go gaming or for busting out in the breakroom for fifteen minutes before heading back to the tedium of retail. My only complaints with the game deal with the handling of the Nibelheim chapter--it's basically an Abridged Version, skating over the events we already know to focus on the ones we don't--and the fact that because the game's battles are triggered by "hot spots" and because many of the game's environments make it painfully obvious where these spots are, it's easy to skip many of the battles by skirting the edge of the path. I'm also annoyed by the auto-run that occurs when you attack an enemy--should you happen to target the wrong enemy by mistake, you'll wind up chasing them across the battlefield or something, and the only way I know how to cancel a command once given is to dodge-roll out of it, which costs AP. And the scene in which Sephiroth uncovers Jenova and gives his crazy little speech to her had horridly glitched voice-acting. X_X The game plays well. In some ways it's more entertaining than the original, especially on Hard Mode. I just wish there was a way to turn off the subtitles. -_-'
Seeing how well this game plays is a large part of why I'm interested in Dissidia. |

| I actually enjoyed the the gameplay of crisis core as well. I am pretty pysched about Dissidia, but I'm a bit worried it'll be Ehrgeiz all over again. *shudders* |
