| SE will never release an M-rated Final Fantasy game. Final Fantasy, first and foremost, appeals to that pre-teen to young adult grouping, mostly. Sure, older people enjoy the game, but I would see them losing more than gaining from slapping an M-rating on the box cover. However, I do see them releasing another fantasy-related RPG and making it a Mature-rated game, if these rumors turn to be true, but just never with Final Fantasy. Not enough to gain, way too much to lose. One bad title like that could completely destroy the franchise. |

| I think it would have more to do with the themes than gore, FF doesn't seem like the kind of game that would have blood squirting everywhere. |

I suppose SE will always target a somewhat younger crowd, but it might be prudent of them to remember the somewhat older gamer too... |

| This is my sole reason in getting a PS3. The rating would not technically enhance or degenerate the game any less. It would merely put forth what other games haven't. It would just destroy the fact for kids to play it. |

| As stated before by others, SE will be looking for the wider demographic- so despite older gamers being interested, id be surprised if an FF game got an M rating. |
