I don't remember ever reading that anyone was let down about KH. It was pretty clear what the game was going to be from the start, and tons and tons of people liked it.

I wouldn't really go as far as to call it a "let down", but I definitely thought it could've been better. Sora(?) was a terrible main character, if you ask me.

For the record, I personally find Kingdom Hearts awesome. I just don't feel that it would be quite as good without some of the FF/Disney characters.

After viewing the seven minute TGS trailer, ive got to say FFXIII is looking impressive, now whether the gameplay can match it is another matter.

I'm leaning more towards Final Fantasy Versus XIII, myself. Bummed about the recent lack of exposure but still pretty psyched.
The Kingdom Hearts games played pretty well, so I have high hopes. Hopefully those won't be crushed they they were when I bought Final Fantasy XII.
Ugh. Terrible game...

The gameplay vid they showed of Versus at TGS was pretty dodgy though apparently in terms of graphics and some things unfinished, but they wanted to show something.

This year's gameplay videos looked way smoother, thankfully.
It's been shaping up pretty nicely, and is currently my most anticipated RPG.
Now, if only they'd finish it before the third coming the of the Christ...

Its quite sad that the miniscule amount weve seen of VERSUS, seems much more promising that the full games of XIII-1 and XIII-2

Haven't played XIII-1 yet (I will soon), but I love the contemporary-like setting in Versus. This is a big plus for me.
