Don't think there's a thread for this yet.....
So what are people's thoughts? I seem to be more excited by this than FFXII. Maybe that's just the sight of those sexy PS3 graphics, or the fact the main protagonist is a woman, and an ass-kicking one at that. 
It does seem again to be a techno-futuristic world, which I know won't please everyone.
I did have a good link for a HQ trailer but seem to have misplaced it. Oh well, you all know where Google is. :P |

I was initially really excited by this game, but when i got over the hype, I realised it was going to be another ****ing sci-fi.

It looks nice... but that's all it's got going for itself so far.
And the character design has to be the dullest yet. |

| Before we judge the character design, we should wait til we've seen at least a few more characters. I thought FFXII would have terrible characters when Vaan was first shown, but then we got to see Ashe, and Balthier (or whatever his name is.) And they rocked. |

| I'm looking forward to it... just about as much as XII, perhaps a bit more cause it'll be the first PS3 FF game. But I don't know enough about it to be hyped by it yet. Not that I hype much over anything though. |

No, very true. There's not much to see yet.
About the character design...... I prefer it over FFXII's, of what we've seen so far anyway. Some of them are good, but I get the feeling Vaan is going to annoy the hell out of me. Silly when I've not even played it, I know. |

| Not at all, you can usually tell from the design what sort of personality you'll encounter, and no doubt Vaan is just one of those annoying, cheery main characters. |

| I quite like that they're going with a female main character again for the first time since FFVI (no, FFX-2 doesn't count), but other than that I don't really know much of anything about this game. I'm withholding judgment until we know more about it. |
