appearance: Loru's apperance is quite strange, but only due to her severe schizophrenia (details later). She has extremly pale skin, wears a massive amount of eye make up and bright red lipstick, and paints her nails bright colors. Her hair is crimson and razored, about shoulder length, with pale blond parts framing her face. She is very thin, too thin. She wears a long brown coat, long red dress, toeless boots and a black scarf. A green mesh sleeve covers her left arm, which is covered in self-inflicted spirals scars she gave herself with a cigarette lighter one night when she was having a really bad schizophrenic spell. Her eyes are bright green.

Loru Vega was put into a mental institution at the age of 11. She has a severe case of catatonic schizphrenia. Schizophrenia does not usually manifest until teh late teens, but sometimes a trauma can bring it on earlier. The trauma was being beaten to a bloody pulp in her all girls' boarding school. She broke out of the institution ten years later, at the age of 21. In her state of mind, she though the people at the institutitoun were trying to fuse her body with white materia as a defense mechanism. She found Cloud and his friends and led them on a wild goose chase across the planet until Vincent Valentine discovered her condition and persuaded her to go to another facility.
The sue-ish part? She married Vinccent and had a baby girl named Mercedes, who is a summoner and 18 now. |
