Ezba/Fingy - teh character!

Here goes...
Full(formal) Name: Ish Akum Aph Ktua Yad Vahassar Ezba
Nick(informal)Names: Ezba, Fingy
Age: 26
Gender: Both(!!)
Class: Octiple Spirit Controller
Build: All but tall height, regular weight. Somewhat muscular and very free-jointed(can bend well).
Hair: Changes between 2 shapes and 7 colors.
1st shape is a"regular" hair style, smoothly brushed from the center in all directions, ending at the bottom of Ezba's neck.
The 2nd shape is only different from the 1st in that that the hair stretches and stiffs, becoming much like straw.
The possible colors are: Black, Brown, Blonde, Ginger, Blue, Green and purple. How and why the hair changes will be detailed below.
Other body-related descriptions:
The nose is somewhat small. The face is scarless and the firm-looking skin is usualy of a light tan color.
Both eyes are teal.
There is a tattoo on the back of Ezba's left hand, looking liked some sort of a rising bird who's wings resemble fangs.
Attire: Ezba wears a simple dark blue martial-artist-style robe, under which plain underwear are worn. All there is to it.
Weapon(s): None carried. Uses magic/spirit force to fight.
Abilities:
1. Manipulation of the 7 spirits:
Being composed of 7 souls, Ezba can draw from their power in order to channel various forms of arcane power. One of the 7 is essentialy useless for this, however, so maybe ability should be named "manipulation of the 6 spirits"...
The powers granted(and side effects) are as follows:
*Ish-Hair becomes brown. This is the Ex-default and has no power.
*Akum- Hair becomes blonde. Grants Chi-like powers.
*Aph- Hair becomes ginger. Grants the ability to psychicly influence temperature.
*Ktua- Hair becomes black. Grants the ability to cancel out force to a certain extent (e.g. it can stop a large boulder from squishing you but not a falling mountain)
*Yad- Hair becomes green. Grants the ability to make mirages.
*Vahassar- Hair becomes blue. Grants the ability to create light (that includes laser beams out of thin air. Again, to a certain extent).
*Ezba- Hair is purple. Currently default. Grants the ability to focus spirit particles into desired shapes (like swords, for example) and partialy absorb departing spirits.
!!!Note: The powers can NOT be used simultaniously!!!
2. Psyche up!
Ah, good old self-damaging boost of strength! Ezba can use this power to increase muscle strength but it couses inner organs to burst if used for too long. When used, even for a little while, static electricity couses Ezba's hair to become like straw and remain like it for a few houres after using this. Obviously an "I'd rather avoid this" ability.
3. Herbal Mastery:
Ezba can recognize practically all types of plants and herbs and can make them into various kinds of healing potions, drugs or even soup ingridients.
Personality:
Ezba, as said above, is composed of 7 souls, each with it's own story, background and uniqe personality. However, only one actualy controlls the body, so only that one shall be described here. "Fingy", as I'd translate his name to english, is the type to say anything that would get him where he wants to be, be it truth or lie. Although Fingy dislikes and distrusts people, he acts very friendly. However, even when people feel that they are good friends with him, the feeling is not mutual.
To him, humans are either tools, obstacles or threats.
Background:
The story originaly started with Ish, a child of a noble family.
Ish was a good student, but much was expected of him, and he was mistreated by his peers. Ish grew up being sad and lonely, having no friends. Ezba, at that time, was nothing but a spirit floating through eternity trying to remember the past. Ezba, suprised by Ish's feeling of surrow, found him and the two made contact. Eventualy, Ezba became Ish's first friend.
Ish, being the only one who could communicate with Ezba (due to a wish-mind-based communication) showed from his perceptive what life is like. After a few years of watching, Ezba grew very disrespectful and distrusting of humans, and started intructing Ish on how to manipulate all that surround him.
Although this went well, one day Ish broke down and decided that he cannot go on anymore. He wished for the only one he trusts, Ezba, to take his life over for him. Ezba agreed, feeling obligated to do this one favor to his friend, and "possessed" Ish. However, during the possession, 5 other spirits sneaked in as well, each for their own reason, presumebly. Ezba was very displeased with this, and went to an old wizard, asking to exorcise the 5 others since they are in the way.
The wizard, excited at the oppertunity to work with such a rare case, set up a mechanism which was supposed to do 2 functions-
1st was to seperate the blob inside Ish's body into seperate souls, and the 2nd was to generate a body for each soul in accordance to it's own metaphysical shape.
However, the 1st part ended being messed up, and the 2nd part was triggered without it-
Ish's body was torn in two, and one half morphed into a combined body for all 7 souls, while the other burned.
Since some of the souls were female, the body ended up having all body parts for both genders. The spell ended up locking itself somehow, and apperantly it is now impossible to seperate them. It has also become impossible for any soul but Ezba himself to take control of the body.
Ezba eventualy decided it's best to sigh and "retire" when he noticed the wizard died from a heart attack the moment he saw his failure. It was decided that the body be named by having all souls combine their names into one, and Ezba's name will be used informaly since he is one always doing the talking.
Soon enough Ezba build a hermitage on a snowy mountain and just peacefuly lived there "alone", though Ezba sometimes does come down for various reasons... |
