As a student of history, and long-time standing member of Final Fantasy Republic, I feel there's a need to glorify those of the past and present, and honor them so.
There have been roughly five previous versions of the "FFR Notable Members" thread, with names added constantly, as FFR is continuously changing and growing, with new members adding their own, unique contributions. Seeing as most members on this list have come and gone well before this most-recent, active group on FFR, there's a definitely a need to provide the information on the members and activities that created FFR and turned it into what it is now, although it pales in comparison to the "golden years" here.
My main point comes down to this: we've got a newer, younger group of members here at FFR, yet it continues to receive posts and contributions day-in and day-out, regardless of what group resides within. And believe me, I find certain members of said group to be quite worthy of making this list, because they are as much a part of FFR as, say, afterlab (too old school, I know). So I will add them accordingly, even, nay, especially, if they are continuously active, or if they've only been here a year and only have 1,200 posts. That's not what this list is about.
Now, I'm going to take the original list from our forebearers (Nojiko, Killak, aerosol), and add my own touch, along with your opinions. This is merely the discussion thread, to deem who's worthy of making this "list of lists" as far as the FFR community goes. As I realize most of you joined well after many of these members had already left, we'll close the discussion on many of them, as they've already etched their place in FFR history. And there are some names not on that list who deserve to be on it, which I will update accordingly.
What I want most out of you, is the dicussion of today's "group", who's worthy, who's notable, who's contributed mightily.
After thirteen months in the making, let us begin the discussion for Notable FFR Members Version Six.

That's a fair listing of those of us who are regularly active on the forums.
In my opinion, of those listed, outside of myself since I'm well before today's group, I find three members on that given list to be worthy of being referred to as "Notable", as far as FFR goes. Those three being:
TURKSarefromTURKEY
Nikolai
Jacks
Without those three, FFR wouldn't have survived the winter of '07, as I was in jail, and many, more prominent figures left. Upon my return in May of '08, they were the only active members around, and continue to be.
Although, I must say, give it a few more months, and I'll have to add another current member to this.
I'm going to post the current list of "Notable Members" from the past here shortly.

Heh heh.
I noticed that Nikolai and Jacks are on FFR quite often, more often than many others. TURKSarefromTURKEY, chocorawrr, and Dromar Darkwind are also on frequently.
LucasAce is a great new member, and sephiroth86 is very helpful when approached with a Final Fantasy question.
Auronfan, Alexei, and I will take full credit for keeping The Linking Game alive for the past 5 months or so.

Just because you're logged in often doesn't mean you're active often. There's a wide margin, and a big difference. Keep that in mind, grasshopper.

True, but I mean "active" when I say "on". I kinda consider it to be the same thing.

But you can remain "on" without actually posting, therefore terminating any thought of you being "active". You see where this is going?
I think I'm going to post the old list with a few updated names in a new thread.

Why would you suggest fake? He post only a few times and trolled Jesse. Thats hardly notable.

I didn't suggest Fake an notable, I just put him on the list of people who are or have been recently active.

Am I gonna miss out again?

No, as a matter of fact, M, I find you to be quite deserving. You just need to be more consistent and stop disappearing on us for months at a time.

Sar, you're not on my list because you tend to go on extended absences. Active as you are, it's not consistent.
This is all my opinion, which means very little, so don't worry about it.
