If we can convince the owner to agree to the idea, Crater and I will be making it so that registered members who are logged in won't have to see ads.

if it makes any difference, i think most of us wouldn't mind leaving the ad on the side, if it would be more beneficial to do so. the ones up top are definitely out of place though.

Its funny there is a thread for this because I keep getting that advertisement! As bad as that ad is, its not THAT bad if you don't move your cursor over the ad. If you do, then you get the "HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO" If you don't, then it doesn't sound off from what I have noticed.

Also, FireFox has a pretty versatile ad blocker.
