Simon, sure.
The Doctor? No.
He got on the "revival" staff because he was known by Edman on ACF, along with the rest of us.
But most like 90% of us who were part of that staff, they posted for a few weeks and then disappeared off into whatever corner of the internet they're currently populating. Their imput was almost entirely minimal.
A number of the staff back then are still friends of mine (Angelus Mortis, for instance), but I'm not going to delude myself into equating their minimal imput into the community as the same as someone who has stuck around for 5 plus years, through both the active times and the quiet times, regardless of whether they're someone I flat out dislike, or a personal friend.
That's my view on it, for what its worth. |

That's the list. Off the top of my head, I couldn't think of any more members to add to that list, and especially none to delete. From here, we could use several older members who know their way around who have known those members personally, at least through the forums, and each can take a grouping of members and write a small bio on each, until we have a complete compilation. |

I'm glad this means so much to you all.
As for me, unlikely I'll ever be around again. I'm busy doing a 160+ hour a week job now and have other commitments to attend too. Just thought I'd pop in and say that it's good that there are people here who still care. Scary really thinking about it, when I first joined this place I was only 15 years old... now I'm 22.
Anyway, I don't see the use in arguing over something like this, whilst it is a nice thing to do - people who became known for being jerks were just as notable as those that were known for being all good. At the end of the day they were all notable and played a course in shaping FFR's history and making it what it was - regards of opinions of them now; their actions in the past are what this thread should be commendating. |
