I think that it's pretty much unanimous that the battle system would be good. Do we have anyone handy to implement it?

Oh I know, it's not the end-all solution, but it's a step.

Hell, I'd probably play it myself. I've had a thing for simple little games recently; I've been kicking some ass on the **** arcade. (Asteroids, Curveball, and Nanaca Crash champion.)

I vote yes, just as long as it doesn't completely distract from posting. In fact, posting should give people a bonus in the battle system of sorts. Newly registered members should only get restricted access, etc.

Wait. I poasted loads of suggestions on a battle system a while ago. Stuff like a level restriction based on posts / join date, so that you can only go beyond level 10 at 100 posts, stuff like that.

Next to RPG system, someone brought up something on a Triple Triad game. That would rule, actually.

Hrm. It would be nicer as a Java applet than a (static) PHP or an Ajax application though. Maybe I'll have the Java skills needed for that after next school year.

Hmph. Making members post to battle would cause loads of spam and pety drama. Think of a way to avoid this?

i would say scrap the idea of the bs is the only way to do so but...of course the idea would still go through.....

if you're going to have restrictions, posting restrictions aren't the sole way to go....i say do it like the vet requirements.....time + post = blah....

let new registers play a few times like a try-out session and then after a number of battle impliment the restrictions and requirements
