There have been several issues concerning the reputation system (questions about it, abuses of negative/possitive rep, etc). We have been talking about what to do with it amongst ourselves, but we want to hear what you have to say, too.
Please vote and reply. If you don't care, you need not reply. Thanks 
Personally, I think it's useless and want to do away with it. |

It doesn't serve the greatest role, but I don't see reason enough for it to be completely abolished. If people really complain about getting negrepped, that's just silly.
It's just a neat feature that other forums don't have. |

| Agreed. Keep it how it is. It's not like it makes a world of difference if you get neg-repped. People whining about "abuse" need to realise that it doesn't mean ****. |

the rep function in all honesty is a bunch of bs. I mean seriously, most people don't really look at it as "Oh, he/she made a good point, I'll give them a rep point..." it's more of a "oh i like blah blah blah...I'll boost their rep points." Then the other lot just don't give a damn.
I don't see a point of having it but at the same time it gives those that want to use it properly something to do i suppose.... |

im not sure how it works, i figured it was like karma on other boards. when you give someone rep, do you give them some of yours, or something?
i have 5, and ihave no idea where it came from and hadnt really noticed it till afew days ago, when i saw there was rp and then rep. for a long time i thought they were rp. |

I think it's fine the way it is. Sure people have been complaining, but thats pretty much only because they want to abuse it, but can't. 
It is a cool features, and most other places don't have it, which makes it all the better.  |
