In my dull opinion, if the Yevon Arena is going to be emptied because of the clan system, I think each clan's main page should be viewable since it sometimes offers informations and can offer information etc etc...

Just keeping the main page in say a place like the Republic archives, and remain editable by the clan leaders. Nobody could post in it, and a link could be provided inside the clan itself, or through a kind of advertisment thingy in which non-aligned members could look to see what they might be getting themsleves into... x)

All the clan threads will be moved and archived. They will not be deleted. So you will be able to go back and read over past discussions and important information if need be.

Obviously though, you will not be able to post in them any more.

to be archived means to have no control on editing first posts so you can change the members as people come and go

There will be no need to edit the members and so forth. You can check which people are in clans when you view their page on the clan system.

you can only view the members if your in the clan if i'm correct... i don't know though... however, i believe you could at least try and make the clan features better...
like somebody who's unallied wanting to join the clan can access like a "Little about the clan" page which the leader creates himself and can edit... Or at least something... x)

People should have the choice to leave clans on their own will as well... As well as having a scroll throughable clan post system x)

People enjoy posting in the clan threads. The clan system is not the same in my oppinion and I think it will never be as good as the Yevon Arena.
Also, either I just cant find how to do it or you cant view old messages left in the clan system. You can only view the 3 newest ones.
Might be just me who hasnt figured out how but as far as I know you cant.

All i can say is Keep The Clan Threads!

Its somewhere to post, and Organise Quizzes and Such, You cant og in the others SB and start an alliance Quiz ETC.. Ok, Lame Reason, but there are others..
