Cause all but about two people around here are complete jerks. And the two that aren't, I DO hang out with. And I see nothing wrong with having friends online.

Visit my friends - Missouri, to be specific St. Charles, has a very high number of my friends. Leik, CA has three, and they're spread out, and in other places I'm lucky to have more than one to a state. That's why  And take my word for it, MO will rock after living where I've lived for 17 years.
