Well here are the suggestions I support, and know would work out well. They were made by several people, so I decided it would be a good idea to bag them all up and show the mods. Cluttered threads are often difficult to read though, and with all the information listed here in a nice clean list; it'll be much easier to read.


1. An inn system -- People should have to sacrafice say.. One to three hours if they lose a battle. When they visit the inn, it is free and recharges all life an MP. This was a great idea, and would let everyone have much more fun : WHILE keeping balance. I really don't think you should have to PAY for an inn -- you're already to poor to aford a phoenix down, aren't you? Who wants to wait 24 hours to battle again? That's not fun either. Instant health replenishment is also very lame. One to six hours is suffiecent in my book, and should satify everyones taste.


2. Weekly RP allowance -- People should get a small sum of RP per week. Enough to buy a potion or two to last them in battle. This weekly allowance should be LOW but also reflect the post count of the user.

Bronze - 100
Silver - 175
Gold - 250
Elite - 300
Veteran - 375

I think these are pretty good base numbers for weekly allowances. Not to much, not to little. Weekly RP isn't supposed to be alot in my opion. These numbers are open for debate, but I'd perfer it if you'd just agree with the CONCEPT behind it -- not try to work out the number details.



3. 2 RP per post. I think this is a good feature, it would not be hard to spot people who posted intentionally for RP -- and if anyone did a moderator would step in and knock their RP to zero.
It's pretty easy to keep an eye on the forums for this in my opion, have one member of the staff dedicaded to the task. It wouldn't be very hard to enforce at all. 2 RP a post is a sufficent number.


4. LOWER THE COST ON HEALING ITEMS. They cost alot of RP these days, everyone is low level and most does not have much RP to spend. These healing items should be affordable when the system is in its infancy, and should remain that way. It might sound unbalanceing at first glance -- but you'll understand why cheap = good in my next suggestion

5. 10 healing items in inventory MAX. The fighting system shouldn't revolve over who can afford the most potions, elixers, and ethers. Let's face it, RP is the corner stone of the system at the moment. The more RP you have -- the more potions you can purcahse to keep yourself alive with. A rich person could purchase up to 20+ and be nearly undefeatable. The battle system should be about TACTICS (not the game) and using your head to win fights : NOT THE SIZE OF YOUR POTION STOCK!

Like I said, try to focus on the CONCEPTS and ignore the details for now. What do you think?

I agree with everyone of those suggestions and hope they are implimented. Especially the one about 10 potions max. You have any idea how hard it is to beat a mod who has 300 potions? I found that out the hard way.

10? hell, how about 4. This shouldnt be diablo 2 ^_^ but, i agree with everything said, since im not seeing too much RP come out of battles yet.

as for salarys, maybe the quizes could be put to use for this

make a whole new, large set of various quizzes, preferably having to do with FFR. then for every quiz that they pass with, persay 75 or 80%, 50 rp or so is bumped up to their salary.

I really don't think the concepts of quiz RP would tie in well. You'd see more people cheating on a FFR quiz that gave RP than there are fake acounts. I think as the suggestions are -- they are efficent. Not to complicated to apply ( quizes would be a good amount of work I'd imagein ), but practical enough to work. These all aren't my ideas either, they were pretty much the bulk of the ideas of several people who have made posts : neatly packaged together and easy for mods to read.

It's alright -- just try to stay on topic with the suggestions I listed. Maybe after these basic grounds for RP distrubution have been laid down, then possibly extra things can be built on top of the foundation for RP that these suggestions would serve as.

Don't you think my new formula for battle wins would be a good idea?

In case you forgot, that is:

User Level x 10 = RP Armour Recieved.

I think that would help loads.

Hmm, I agree in all of the above suggestions. To me it sounds like an idea worth considering. Although, to recieve the allowance for a particular week, I think you should have been active in the forums at least once during that time...
