Avatars FAQ
Below is a simple FAQ containing basic information on avatars, how to use them and should solve any troubles you're having with them.
What is an Avatar?
An avatar is a image of your choice that appears under your username.
How do I make one?
If you have Photoshop, or any other graphic design program, you can make one easily. The dimensions are 65x65. If you do not have access to a graphic design program, feel free to ask somebody in the Talent Show forum for them to make you one.
How do I put a avatar under my name?- Create or select avatar and save it to your computer
- Go to your myRepublic
- Click Edit Options and then Edit Avatar
- Upload the avatar from your computer or select one of the defaults by clicking on the white radio button beside the avatar
- Click Save!
After this, the avatar should show up.
If your avatar does NOT show up, check the troubleshooting section below.
Troubleshooting
Q: My avatar does not show up! What do I do?
A: Most likely, you have not selected the YES option.
Q: It gives an error and says that I can't upload this!
A: Your dimensions must be 65x65. If they are, and you still receive an error, make sure your file size is under 20000 bytes.
