| Oh one question stew, should i NOT do pull offs and hammerons while doing it slow and just pick them? And also, though i will get them over time... These are no where as hard as Yngwie's heh, he does 3 and 2 string ones, i am sure once i master these his will be easier, i am sure he can do the 5 string ones its just most of the ones i have attempted or heard are 3 string ones. I have Kazaa, but no I mesh...
Anyways first pick them cause you'll want to get your picking up as well, these are exallent picking exercises.. once you get comfortable though with the picking start adding the hammer-ons and pull-offs.. but don't completely stop doing the straight picking..
As for the difficulty.. these aren't ment to be difficult..YET... these will familiarize you with the forms and sounds of each chord.. after you get these down I will promise you that you will see a difference in your soloing and improvising..
I've seen yngwie do some 6 string arpeggios that just kick your ass... here's one.. Download the video Arpegios from hell b yngwie and you will know what I mean.. It's definitely in kazaa cause I downloaded it there.. good luck. |

| Yeah i have that video, poor guy let him self go... my mom used to think he was the hottest thing ever and when i showed it to her she almost cried lol. But yeah he is a maniac but usually does 3 and 2 stringed ones from what ive seen. Ill give these arpeggios a shot and before i request the new lesson ill master em! so give me a week |

Alright alright, anyways have you ever heard of extreme, It's funk metal nuno bettencourt as the guitarest, Their Pornographitti album is just amazing, and you'd prabably recognize some of the songs on the album. Iy's extremely funky so I don't know if you'd be into that.. But the techneque is fresh and totally different as that of yngwie, but it's complex and somewhat hard top play.. The vocals are anoying as hell but, that's not thye reason I listen to them, anyways check them out..

I wouldn't say "easy" for they can be pretty hard if you want to play 16th notes to a speed metal song,, yeah but complexity wise it's basic..
yeah anyways I'm waiting on another Vai avator and banner, I'm hoping it'll be out soon. |
