Sorry if I sound like a n00blar, but I'm trying to learn how to use PS and all- how do you guys get all your awesome graphics and effects? I've been fiddling around with the program for a while but I still can't make anything much better than very simple pictures. Things such as those awesome 3d art stuff, how is it possible they are made?

Or am I using the wrong program lol.

No, Photoshop is good, you just need to get to know the tools...... got to www.photoshopcafe.com they have some good tutorials ^_~

hmm, well I just figure out how to do everything on my own basically. I don't really approve of tutorials.
Its good to just play around with all the tools and menus, see what they do. I'm still learning and i've been photoshopping for two years.

No don't use mspaint. You can get Photoshop 5.0 - 7.0 from Kazaa or any other p2p program you use.

As for the topic, I just mess around alot. Just play around and get inspired somehow.
