Looks nice. The backgrounds looks very iffy to me... Did you put a texture over some blended images? I can't really make out anything in there...
Some constructive criticism, if you don't mind of course...
The background is very, very inconsistant, and I can't make out anything in it, besides a part of Lulu to the far right. If you're not used to making backgrounds, one method I can suggest is making one with brushes and putting a few semi-opaque blended images over it. One thing that's important is colour flow. COncentrate on one end of the colour spectrum, as it always turns out the best. If you vary colours too much it can look messy.
For the main image of Lulu you used. I like that you rotated it. It looks well, but IMO, it would look better if you softened the edges a little more, or faded them a little to sit the image in more. Even play with the colour channels, as it looks cropped and placed over the background.
The text is a little plain, IMO. It matches in with the background nicely, but it's quite easily overlooked. Even something as simple as adding a gradient from bottom to top would make it lok very nice, I think.
Overall though, this graphic isn't bad at all. Please don't take my suggestions to mean I don't like it or anything, I mean no harm.   |
