Sorry, I am unaware of a size limit or if there even is one. I would say anything's okay as long as it's not annoyingly large.

About your sig, I like the color of it, but it seems a bit blurry/grainy, I can't really tell. I'm also not a fan of the font, but it was a good effort. I've seen much worse. 7/10
