Sorry, but I am not a fan. Dunno how to improve. I just don't like it that much. It's OK for a first wallpaper though.
What most people fail to do is figure out a focus point of the wallpaper. You need to have one area that is the area where you want people to focus on, then use contrasting colors depending on where it is. Eg: Have a picture of some FF character surrounded by black, then use white on the rest of the wall.
