I like it. What program did you use to make them?

I would have thought with the effects you used in your avatar that you had used paint shop pro.

Both your avatar and banner have a nice crisp, clean look. And I like the japanese character you have on the right of you banner. It really helps to balance out the pic.

That was really hard to get it to look right and then blend it in. I really wanted it in there though.

It is very simple, and the person in the banner/avatar is really overused throughout the internet, so I would not say that was a good choice of anime. Another thing, the font, it doesn't look good when it is small, so try and get some nice bitmap fonts, because they suit the smaller circumference in which you desire.

In addition, you did not really do anything. You just got a picture and added text to it, no hard work there really. Moreover, the scan lines on the avatar look messy; maybe you should make the transparency level a little lower so you can actually see the character behind.

If you are new to the program, I could say nice attempt, but on the other hand, if you were familiar with the program, then I would say it was a shabby attempt.

You will notice the skills later on though; you will find yourself improving little bits and pieces here and there with time. So just, keep working on it.

I did quite a lot thanks. I am new to the program and I did a little more than add the text. The character on the right was very dificult to grab and manipulate, then blen in to look proper. The Shape layered under "Cortex" was also pretty difficult to add in.

Thank you for your opinion though.

You don't always need alot going on in order for a banner to be good either.

It's not a bad set. I give it a 7/10 for both. They are pretty good if you are a beginner.
