| It isn't released in this country for another few months yet, but the demo is a joy to play. I'm very much looking forward to this smash-hit game. It's going to be one of the biggest and best games of the century, I think. |

Samurai and Snake, stop it. You're acting like little children, bickering and fighting over nothing. Stop spamming this thread up with your pointless replies, or I'll have to close it.
MGS2 was released today in my country, 2 months before it was expected. I've been playing it all afternoon, and I'm very, very impressed. The graphics, gameplay, sound, music and storyline are all great, and I'm really enjoying playing it. I hope the story improves as the game goes on. |

MGS2 was a disappointment for me. I thought the main character would be Solid Snake, but you only got to play him for about an hour, then you had to play as that faggortsand, Raiden.
I also got quite bored with the hours of FMV sequences. |

Heh. Nah.
MGS2 is visually extremely impressive, the engine makes pretty much all other game engines look like amateur-work. The cut-scenes are well done as well, and the controls are decent as per usual.
However, there are far too many cut-scenes compared to the amount of actual PLAYING you do. 5 hours into the game and about 2, maybe 2,5 of 'm are actual gamePLAY.
Furthermore, the game is way too short.
Any "great game of all time" should last longer than a few hours of gameplay. A game doesn't deserve the title "one of the greatest games of all time" if people buy it and finish it the very same day. You need more than just great graphics, music, story and controls for that title. You need durability, length, replayability. MGS2 lacks that too much, unfortunately, cos I gotta say, it's a great experience to play it. Very nice, and I like it a lot, too. |

| I noticed that, too. The number of FMV sequences severely out-numbered the time of gameplay, and it only took me 5 and a half hours to beat the sheisty thing. |

| The constant codec calls were sometimes a pain, same with the little FMV sequences. But it had a good plot, and some great graphics. I had fun while I was playing it, expect for those few things. |
