This is probably one of the best RPGs ever.

Has anyone else played it?

The environment in which the game takes place is excellent. They managed to capture the grimey side of life in a very appealing way. The graphics are some of the best I've ever seen in a PC game, and the character detail is just brilliant.

The storyline itself is diverse, and everything that happens depends entirely on what you choose to do or say. There are about 5 alternate endings, each garanteed to leave you thinking 'WTF' (I should know, I've seen them all).

This game was poorly received on accounts of a rather large bug and many small ones. Due to a lack of money and time restrictions, it wasn't possible for Trioka to properly beta test and fix a lot of the bugs, but it's REALLY not difficult to look past that. One bug in particular is unavoidable and unless you know how to get past in using the console or download a patch, you can't play the game any further (though I've heard if you have an extremely good graphics card you won't encounter it at all).

So, anyone else play/like it?

From what you posted in that other thread it sounds quite hilarious. Is this for PC?

It is. And it really does have it's moments. But it wouldn't be a comedy...wouldn't he horror either. I'm not sure which genre it would fall into. It's really an excellent game though.

lol.

You don't know what you're missing this game is incredible.

THough, you do need a pretty good computer to play it. The Spec requirement is a bit high, another thing that didn't help Trioka much in the end.

Definitely worth playing though.

Did you know Trioka went under Imalia? Just thought I'd let you know, if you weren't aware - so I doubt there's going to be an sequel.

I found Bloodlines was a decent enough game, let down by the fact that character class customisation becomes a chore - it's impossible to get anywhere in within without giving your character strong fighting capabilites, making a lot of more obscure and unique abilities the game offered far less useful in the long run.

It's not bad, but not a game I would go back to again and again.

I have gone back to it again and again.

And yes, I heard Trioka had finished.

The character system was a bit of a pain. One thing that's detering is that it's actually not possible to max out all the stats and complete 'all' the missions. You have to pick and choose your character's abilities - you can't have everything. This detered a few people I know from playing it.

But IMO, this is better because you need a few plays through (at least) to get a proper feel for it.

Plus, one thing I loved about this... THe Nosferatu Playthrough is COMPLETELY different when compared to the normal playthrough. There are extra boss battle and alternate routes. (not to mention you can break the masquerade just by walking past someone...my god that's hilarious stuff )
