Heh, I'm such a big Dante fangirl. I love this series of games, for a long time the only games I had were DMC1, 2, and 3, lol.
DMC3 is definately the best game for me in the series, I know a lot of people didn't like the plot, but I thought it was pretty good for an action game.
I can't wait until DMC4 comes out on the PS3, it will be the main reason for me getting one of those, lol.
Excuse me while I squeeee

I loved DMC1 and DMC3. Never played DMC2 - heard it was the shits.
I actually love Vergil...I got the se of DMC3, but I haven't gotten around to playing it. I have to say that Dante is one of the coolest characters of all time!

I have it and have started playing the third one, but some of dialogue kills me xD I think it's kind of corny sometimes, but the game is fun as hell, so it makes up for it.

I've played all 3 games/ own all 3 games. By far I think that 3 is the best, but from the looks of it, 4 might just take the top of being the best DMC game. And BTW Dante is DAMN SEXY! *drooling*

I think Vergil's hotter than Dante

Absolutely loved DMC1, man what an experience that game was! DMC2 I played for maybe 40 minutes before returning it to the shop, that's how crappy it was. DMC3 was fucking perfect in terms of gameplay, though it wasn't well balanced... some parts that should have been easy were way too hard, and then parts that should have been hard were way too easy (final boss fight, anyone?) I also thought the dialogue and a lot of the cutscenes were really, really cheesy.
DMC4 had better be fucking spectacular.

I fully agree with you on that. For I think that they now know in what the players want to see and everything else. They would make the game better, and make it a damn outta this world great game.

Have all three DMC games plus the special edition version of 3 as well. I think DMC is an excellent series of games and am eagerly awaiting the fourth installment for the PS3. As people have said the only blot on the DMC franchise is DMC2 for me.

I played a bit of the first two installments, but never picked up the third. Overall, I liked it for the action/adventure game that it'd be - not too shabby of a storyline either.

Yeah, I played DMC1 and DMC3, I played a little of DMC2 but I didn't like it as much, how different and boring things were. I can't wait for DMC4, I had a look at some of the pics, it looks amazing.

Dante is my bitch. *is not a big fan of Vergil* Some of the dialouge in DMC3 does kill, but Dante can get away with it because he's... Dante. I love him in all three games. (he was gorgeous in DMC2, even for an old guy) but the difficulty of the game itself was kinda... ahem. I'm still trying to beat DMC3. =O

I just finished the 3rd one a week or so ago. they are awesome games. i even dont mind the second one, at least not as much as most other people. the 3rd one has the gameplay but its still missing the atomosphere the 1st one had.

I've played the first and third one. I liked both, but DMC3 was more... Entertaining. I loved the soundtrack to it, for one, and the storyline wasn't too bad.
Dante. <33

I've just ordered the PC version of DMC3. This is very sad, now I'm going to basically own 3 copies of the same game, lol.

That's what makes it so awesome! It's straight out of an 80's B movie, but with good special effects. I liked 1 and 3, 2 was poor, the storyline was poo, the main enemy was poo and although I thought the second character was actually quite good and easy to sue, as an actual character they sucked too.

You cant beat the line in DMC1:
Flock Off Feather Face!
Pure quality. I didnt really like DMC2 much but in any series of a franchise you will get games that you find less exciting to play than others. DMC1 was truly awesome and still is to this day. DMC3 i didnt think could match the original but i think it did. The fourth installment i can hardly wait for.

i read that earlier. hopfuly they dont try to make it too easy. i liked dmc3 because ifelt like a badass afterbeating every boss because they wereso damn hard. its funny because i will go back and play other games like shinobe, blood will tell, and even the first kingdom heart, and clean up on all the old boss i thought were difficult like they were nothing. all because i got so used to timing my attacks and waiting for just the right moment in dmc3.
