Xbox Live and PSN should be getting the DMC4 playable demo on Thursday!
The demo will teach players how to use the Devil Bringer, demonstrating how to use the new actions such as slamming creatures to the ground, covering great distances in a single bound or grabbing enemies while on the ground or in the air and performing attack combos after pulling them towards Nero. Master the Exceed system which enables Nero to rev up his sword for destructive attacks before facing Berial at the end of the demo.

Totalvideogames.com have a QandA with Hiroyuki Kobayashi- Some choice quotes below, click on link for more:
While both characters share some similarities - both can attack with a combination of sword and gun - there are a number of differences. The most obvious of these is Nero's Devil Bringer with which he can grab enemies and smash them into the ground, draw them towards him or obtain items that were previously out of reach. Nero's ability to grab enemies really makes a change to the way a player can attack an enemy. When Dante attacks the force of his blow will send the enemy away from Dante, but Nero can attack using his sword or gun and then reel the enemy back in to follow up with another attack. By repeating this process the player can rack up some really impressive combo chains.
Nero is a young knight in the Order of the Sword, a religious order based in the coastal city of Fortuna, that worships the legendary Sparda and whose mission is to protect the city from demonic attack. When Dante bursts in on an important ceremony and kills the High Priest and other members of the Order, Nero fears for the safety of his childhood friend Kyrie and attacks Dante. This is when the player will take control of Nero for the first time.
Certainly some people have commented that it was an odd decision, but the introduction of a new main character has a number of positives. Firstly it allows us to introduce a new gameplay mechanic, the Devil Bringer, and this opens up some really interesting combat opportunities. Secondly we are not just introducing Nero, but also the characters that make up his world and a new setting for the series with the town of Fortuna
Nero charges up his sword using a throttle system, just as if it was a motorbike. In practice, this involves the player pressing L1 or LB, for PS3 and 360 respectively, in order to fill up a total of three sections of the Exceed Gauge. Getting the timing just right will really help as you can fill all three sections with just one press if you get it spot on.

Well DMC4 is now out, but the big news isnt the gameplay it seems.
Its that the PS3 version install process takes 20mins and websites suggest that for 5gb it doesnt really change that much from the xbox360 version- in reference to loading times etc:
Reports have come in though that even with the game's release, PS3 owners will still have to wait around 20 minutes to install the game before they can play it.
Apparently, the PlayStation 3 version of the game installs almost 5 Gigabytes of game data on the hard disk. According to website CVG though, this installation makes no big difference to the load times when compared to the Xbox 360 version of the title.
So far Capcom has been pretty quiet about the issue and has not given an explanation on the long installation process of the game. We suspect it might have something to do with the game's coding and compatibility with the PlayStation 3 architecture but we can't confirm that unless Capcom gives us something more substantial.

There is apparently a lot of repalying in the game ie redoing something with Dante youve done with Nero. This isnt a new thing for DMC fans though.

Most of the reviews ive read have been complimentary of it, but as you say there is massive backtrack- plus fighting the same bosses as Nero then Dante as well.

Capcom has responded about the 20min or so loading time for the Ps3 when you install:
Capcom's Chris Kramer tries to appease the masses by explaining some of the valid reasons behind the game's pre-loading dilemma.
While the game loads around 5GB of data into your PS3, you can get to watch some interesting screens retelling the first three games in a nutshell. Think of it as a recap of "Previously, on Devil May Cry...".
If that's still not enough to convince you, Kramer also mentions that after installing the game once, the PS3 version of the game has "near-Super Nintendo speed load times". This means that there's practically no loading time once the game has started. Although in hindsight, gaming website CVG mentioned that the game's PS3 loading times still made little difference despite the lengthy installation process when compared with the Xbox 360 version.
He also contrasts this game with the Unreal Tournament series' option to install files to your PS3 for faster loading times. While this may seem like you just turned your console into a PC by installing files on it, Kramer mentions that gamers will appreciate the benefits this small "inconvenience" will reap once you manage to overcome this hurdle.
