Most loved/hated voices in games?

So yea. Now most next-gen game character are voiced by real life actors now. Which characters from whcih games do you like and dislike? Who suits the part? and whos just plain ****?
Mine are ....
Metal Gear Solid - Solid Snake - David Hayer
Such a bad ass voice  Probably has the most talented voice so far in a game .
Kingdom Hearts - Sora - Haley Joel Osment
HA! this kid is suited to play the part of sora. Nice try from Squaresoft in hiring this hollywood kid
My dislikes are .....
Final Fantasy X - Yuna ---- (dont know who play her)
Dont like her voice cause .... she ........ talks ...... like ..... this.

Yuna is voiced by Hedy Burress. I don't like her in X, but she's better in X-2. However, that's not the voice actor's fault, it is the character.
I love John DiMaggio's work as Wakka and Kimahri in those games. Paula Tiso's work as Lulu and Gwendoline Yeo's voicing of Paine are both excellent as well, IMO.
Dwight Schultz does Machaen's voice wonderfully, and O'aka's as well. Top marks to him.
In other games, Jaime Reyes is great in Deus Ex (Not idea who plays him.), Tommy Vercetti in GTA: Vice City (Again no idea who) and Cortana in Halo are all great voices in my opinion. |

i agree that David Hayter does a great job in the MGS games. All around, i hate the guy who playes Tidus in FFX. he has the voice of a pansy man and he screams like one too (dont know the name)
I have to give some Props to lance bass for doing sephiroth. i seriously could not tell it was him till i read the credits. |

I HATE THE VOICE OF YUNA. ITS THE SINGLE MOST ANNOYING VOICE NEXT TO CASSANDRA FROM THAT HENTIA GAME.
JESUS CHRIST ITS SO ****IN ANNOYING..
um...aside from that i cant think of a voice i like...i think the Scribes voice from Stronghold is the best.. |

The voices in Eternal Darkness are done very well, I'd say they ar the best voice acting I've ever heard in any game.
Shenmue 2 has horrible voice acting, ashame since the game is basicaly a frickin movie. |

| I didn't like Tidus' voice at all. He sounds like a whiny brat which he kind of is. |

He's supposed to sound like that, and I think he did a good job of creating an annoying ****er of a character. Considering that Shuyin is voiced by the same guy, and I haven't heard anyone complain that he sounds all high and whiny(hell, he almost sounds evil sometimes), I think James Arnold Taylor is pretty talented.
Anyway, as others have said...David Hayter does a great job as Solid Snake. But most of the voice acting in MGS was top-notch anyway. x)
Other than that...
- Wilhelm's voice actor in Xenosaga. I love his voice, for some reason. o_O It's all...soothing and cute and somehow evil. Actually, I liked most of the voices in Xenosaga, except for MOMO's...
- Gwendoline Yeo, Paine's voice(FFX-2). Fits Paine perfectly. Sexy voice, sexy character. x)
- Rick Gomez, voice for Gippal(FFX-2). I really like his voice. But I'm obsessed with Gippal, so uh.
- Alyson Court, voice for Claire Redfield(RE). One of the few good voice actors for the series. If they ever change her voice, I'm gonna...get mad. And scream. And throw things.
And voices I can't stand:
- Tara Strong, voice for Rikku(FFX/FFX-2). DIE ***** DIE. Most. Annoying. Voice. Ever. I can't stand Rikku, and one of the main reasons for that is her ****ing voice. Euuuugh...every time she talks, I get the urge to throw my PS2 out the window.
- Hedy Burress, voice for Yuna(FFX/FFX-2). I can't stand her voice either. It's too dull. But Yuna's a dull character, so I guess it fits. And some of the lines in FFX-2, dear lord. "Game over, man. Game over." Blah.
- Sherry Lynn, voice for Shelinda(FFX/FFX-2), voice for MOMO(Xenosaga). Another annoying, squeaky as hell voice.
- All the voice actors for Jill Valentine(RE). I don't know their names, but there have been three of them. All of them sucked horribly.

| Generally, I prefer games where there is no voice acting. I'm more of a classic gamer, if you will. |
