*rolls eyes*
If it's got Disney's endorsement it's going to be released outside of Japan or else Disney would've pulled out of the deal. Also it's Disney of Japan, who share and office block with the Square team, who contribute to the game. The only thing Disney of America has is the copyrights over the characters.
If the game isn't going to be released outside of Japan then Disney would pull out because they are an international retailer and it wouldn't make economic sense for them to release a local based product.
Given the popularity of the first game it's a sure bet that KH2 will be released globally (remember there are other countries besides America and Japan who play video games). And if you Americans think you'd be getting a bad deal if you don't get KH2 then feel pity for us Brit's where SquareEnix hasn't had the decency to release Dragon Quest, and other RPG's like Star Ocean rarely see the light of day over here.
Even if they don't plan on releasing it you've got Petition Online for pete's sake.
As for images, Google Image Search or looking RPG sites would be your best bet, bearing in mind that you're most likely to find the images on Japanese sites so unless your fluent in Jap you won't be able to read a damn thing.
EDIT: I think KH2 was pencilled in for a late 2004 release in Japan, mid 2005 release in America and an early 2006 release in Europe, Austrailia and the remaining regions. |
