a very mysterious flame in KH...

| I was replaying Kingdom Hearts, and I noticed a wierd anomoly... when I defeated like, the 4th 5th or 6th seed in the pegasus cup, this odd flame I had never seen before popped up. it appeared there during the battle, even during the victory dance, but then it disappeared... it may have been my imagination, but it seemed the battles got harder afterward, but again, thats probably my imagination. Does anyone have a clue where this flame came from? it just burned there, nothing to burn though, and it wasn't like the Fira spell (which I currently possess) so what the hell is it? |

| Most likely it was an unsightly glitch they didn't notice to fix. The battles got harder because of advancing to the next battle. It gets harder each time. I will do some research on the matter, and see if anyone else has experienced this "glitch". |

Maybe it's because I'm kind of ignorant and a gamer that is undistracted by small things but, I
never remember seeing anything out of the ordinary. The battles did seem to get harder
though, I thought that was because the progression through the game. Meh, I don't know. |

it was maybe a Mushroom Darkness a very friendly darkness in kingdom hearts...
I killed many of them in the Deep Jungle Level.
but if you help them out then they might give you an item. |

A mysterious flame you say?
I haven't played KH for a long time, but maybe it's a glitch of the dark shadowy residue the heartless disappear in when you kill them.
Those mushroom heartless can leave some very useful items if you meet certain conditions: the white ones require you figure out the right spells to use on them, black ones you just kill. I really like the blue ones since you get to juggle them, I think my highest count was 28.
It's probably a glitch then. |

The battles get harder (in general, not just as a progression through the cup) after you visit hallow bastion, at some point.
As for the flame, I don't know what you're talking about. I've never seen it. |

| Very right. The Heartless DO get harder after Hallow Bastion: they're more of them and some kinds of them end up in different places around the worlds. And I don't want to mention Phantom or Kurt Zisa. |
