(PS2) Splinter Cell release Date

After some brief moments of consternation, Ubi Soft has confirmed that the PlayStation 2 version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell will be released in the United States on April 8.
Developed by Ubi's studios in Shanghaithe new version of the game is to include several extra features not found in the original version -- a new intro movie, new levels, and revised graphics to take advantage of different hardware features. Also a Making-of disc.

| It's by Tom Clancy- Net Force ANYONE. I mean gawd, jeez. I'll give it a go for game play but I'm expecting no real story like MGS or MGS2. Tom is crap. Bad. One in five of his books are worth looking at. He sucks. Come on everyone- TOM CLANCY IS HIDEO'S *****! |

| Well some say that Splinter Cell is a MGS killer... It trys to make you think... MGS you can find ammo all over the place allowing you to shoot everyone you met... Splinter Cell apparently grants you very limited ammo... I am looking forward to SC alot... Thanks for the info Zel ol chap |

In my opinion, Splinter Cell is a clone of MGS (concept wise of course) a really good one at that, but MGS rules SC, with its wacky, political storyline, also well designed boss, (Psycho Mantis) Characters/Voices, (Snake/David Hayer) storyline wise (Ray or Rex + a Cyborg ninja, yer cant go wrong there)
