I was walking down the sidewalk here to get lunch when I imagine what it would be like if life was suddenly like Final Fight. You know, where a bunch of inept street thugs walk out and you must beat them up and continue on. Just like any other day. Walk out, beat up thugs, then go eat somewhere like it's no big deal. Maybe it'd be more like River City Ransom on that thought. Combining street fights with buying things. Both great games BTW.
So I wonder, if you could define or redefine your life to match a game, what game would that be? For the sake of arguments, this will be a poll. Look at the descriptions and see which one is most like your life or which one you imagine your life to be like most of the time. Heh, I know most people will pick RPG or MGS. All I can say is, think about it first. Answer honestly. |

Well, I picked Resident Evil. I do often imagine my life that way. Not neccessarily shooting zombies, but more of the searching for ways to make other things work. Since I work on computers, I often look at them as puzzles. Some are more complex than others and some can't be solved by normal means. Plus, I collect items to "unlock more secrets" such as tools and software. *shrugs* What can I say? Life is more interesting when you don't take it too seriously.  Plus there is the fact that at night, this town is DEAD. It's very eerie and feels like an RE or Silent Hill game. Heh, I've even gone to work on the mayor's computer and wondered if he had any hidden switches behind pictures or something.  Much more interesting than just going in to troubleshoot a software gitch. |
