The games Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger and Legend of Mana, "Why would you bring up Legend of mana?" you might ask.
They a few worlds in each game have music from another. Example; Zeal Island, and that firelight with those bears....
Chrono Cross, Main Island Theme, Chrono Trigger, Main Theme, same! Squaresoft needs some NEW MUSIC!!!!!!!

well they are all by square, and there's nothing wrong with the Chrono series having the same music....
if you want new music, play the new games. those are older and obviously the newer stuff will have different music

DER!

Yasunori Mitsuda did the music for all three games, and based a lot of Chrono Cross' music off music from Chrono Trigger.

Yeah, I saw the Chrono Cross stuff as being a homage to the Chrono Trigger stuff. I mean, we didn't really get the best sound quality with the Chrono Trigger songs before...Wish Mitsuda'd do a new version of Magus' Theme...

Realize that when Mitsuda was writing the score for Chrono Trigger, he was doing so under the apprenticeship of Nobuo Uematsu. They co-wrote the project. And Chrono Cross' score is indeed an homage to the first game's music. And it turns out Mitsuda needs no one's help while composing. He's proved this much to us: that he's a genius. So calm down.
