tony hawks is the best compotition game around i mean it has a range of characters and nobody cam beat the 900 and the secret characters r brill darth maul and ollie the magic bum r my fave what do u think

Urmm... This thread's ID "1337" and "Zell_Dincht" 's post ID is "1337".

I love looking for these "1337" addresses!

Anyway Yes, Tony Hawk, is the best Sports type game I've ever seen, and I await buying TH3 soon. Maybe now this thread will get some press? lol. Everyone should post in the two "1337" threads I found.

HA! Now the thread ID is 20,353!

It must have some kind of random this, that your computer recognises, and it changes all the time via the mySQL database.

It _WAS_ 1337 when I posted that. :\

Dude, you don't understand the vB system. This thread is ID 132:

What you are looking at is the POST ID. My previous post in here has POST ID 20353. Hover your mouse over the QUOTE button under my post and look at your status bar. You'll see that it ends with:

...&postid=20353

When you go to a thread and go to the lastpost in that thread, you are sent to the last post, and that is an anchor with the POST ID. Your URL was probably something like

http://forums.ffrepublic.com/showthr...id=20353#20353

Yes? That's not the thread-id, that's the post id, MY post's ID (for it was my post that was the latest, when you went here).

Do you understand it now?
