A PETITION FOR SEGA TO DESIGN A NEW DREAMCAST SYSTEM,AND CONTRACT HITACHI TO MANUFACTURE THE NEW DREAMCAST FOR SEGA!!! CMON PEOPLE!!!
It`s true Sega can make a larger profit fromdesigning a new version of the Dreamcast based onthe Naomi 2 Arcade Board that would be compleate with the same funtions as the oridganal Dreamcast.However it would incorperate 20 times more internalmemory,4 times faster clock speed,20 times morepolygon pushing power,DVD Status,and upgradeableZip-Drive, The selling price of the new Dreamcast$250.00 to $300.00Sega can also contract Hitachi to manufacture thenew Dreamcast for them in order to cut manufacturingcosts on their part,and still profit largely from thesales.In the meantime Sega can still be platforming for thenew Dreamcast console,and other platformers such asGame Boy Advance,Wonder Swan,PCs,MACs,Cellular Phones,Arcades,and Tiger LCD/Pocket GamesThe oridganal Dreamcast system can be sent back to Sega

sorry man, aint gonna happen, sega is threw with them systems, they were on top with that Genisis of theres but they bombed with that saturn and the dreamcast, which hurt me real bad cause i had a saturn, and im a 1 console person, not a whole lot a money, ill only shell out enough for 1 console at a time and only about every 5 years or so.
anyways sega took a wound it aint coming back from, and ya know what, i saw that one coming! who didnt though? well at least sega is still making games, there in the ranks of capcom, konami, activision, etc. now, but is that such a bad thing? i think the reason why the genisis was successfull is because of the titles they made and not the ones made buy other game-developers, games like sonic the hedgehog. |

GOD NO -- THE LAST THING WE NEED IS ANOTHER CONSOLE TO SUCK MONEY OUT OF THE VIENS OF LOYALE GAMERS.
I petiton that ALL console companies merge and make one AWESOME MACHINE that runs ALL games. I'm sick of lame console wars. PSII, X-Box, DreamCast, GC, and any other halfass box can go to hell. |

im with ya man, im sick of worring about which systems will get all the good games, it aint somthing that is really predictible, but im going for the ps2, as for your "all systems" idea, its a dream, but will never be a reality
i heard the ps3 is around the corner, that worries me, i aint paying money year after year just to update my system, if ps3 comes out to quick, ps2 will die and ill be ****ed.
i need a job. |

| The dreamcast, at the time it came out, was a system way ahead of the competition. It came out a few months before the ps2, xbox, and gamecube and it looked like sega had made a smart move. But once again, they proved me wrong. Who makes a system with CDrom games that can just be burnt from the internet for free? Someone at Sega had to know it would happen, and that was Sega's downfall once again. I say Sega should just stick to making games like the awesome 2k sports series for other system, otherwise they are destined to fail once again. It's been proven that there's only room for 3 systems on the market, and Sega doesnt stand a chance against the current 3. |

BTW Dreamcast is a classic system.. i mean if they made a new one, they will beat PS2, GC and Xbox for sure.. but they just have to release it after the PS3. Sega is one of the best game company in my opionin especially the 2k series.. (oh i love NBA 2k series). Anymore opinoins? |

There's more money in software than there is in hardware, and the market's already got enough consoles in there. Sure, I'd love to swap Microsoft out for Sega, but oh well.
Right now, Sega's focusing on becoming a large, EA-challenging software developer, and I say good for them. It's better than going the way of SNK.
I just sort of wish all the cool new Sega games were on a system other than the Xbox. Panzer Dragoon Orta, I hardly knew ye.  Looking at the screenshots though, I can't imagine any of the other consoles have enough juice to make PDO work.
Well, that Xbox, Jet Set Radio Future, Sega Rally GT, and Type-S controller package does look sorta purdy... |

I agree with Zelnaga.. maybe it's better off leaving Sega dealing mostly with the software rather than the hardware..
I mean if they do make another new console, I bet it'll do very poorly like the Saturn or the Dreamcast..
So I'll stick with Sega with just making games.. |
