| FFXI is going to be not as great as FFX because not to many people going to buy the game becuase u must play on the internet which i think is stupid. well wats ur opinion on FFXI? |

| Well I don't think online games like that are hits sometimes. BUT since this is another FF series I think it will do fine. |

Just because a few whiny 12 year olds can't aford FFXI doesn't mean there's less people getting it, considering there are a lot of online gamers who are going to get it.
I think it's going to be good, and any one who says it isn't should have a better statement then "Well, it's going to cost money... so there for, it's a bad game." |

Erm well hang on, I've heard a rumor of the US and European version of Final Fantasy XI not going to be released, as of the fact that Squaresoft may not be able to manage all the Beta selectors as such, evn though as we speak, sources tell they're having enough trouble as it is.
So before we count our chickens before they hatch, its not really fair to debate quite yet, THOUGH in answer to this thread, I personally do not like the sound of it... Well I'll no doubt get it, but in my opinion it will not become as much as a hit as the prequels. |

I can guarantee you that rumor is 100% untrue.
- Square can't manage it? Ehh... this is Square were talking about, not Gravity. ^^'
- A level cap was put on the JP version. Why? So there wouldn't be tons of maxed out level 100 Japanese players when the US version would be released. If that rumor is true, then why would the put a level cap?
- One thing that all gaming companies have in common, is that there runned by greedy Asians! Do you think Square would keep the game from being released if there was a good profit in it?

I agree. FFXI is gonna rule. The series is so popular that 12 year olds that at leats know about it will be stealing cash out of their parents wallets.  |
