Is it just me or do the citys get smaller and smaller. True citys show no much larger then ever. But the exploration of them are reduced. Luca is the biggest city that you can always enter and you can only see such small part of it. If you compare that to a city like lindlbum then ...

With FFXI we have whole citys to explore. I just hope XII does not continue the trend.

The cities were small, but they were very beautiful. Zandarken was just "MmmmmMMMMmmm....". Beville also looked really nice. It's a double edged sword I think.. Big cities usually just mean you spend your time running in circles to find places, but the lack of exploration in them does add a bit of boredom.

If there was good sized cities which are very beautiful then with a great storyline you would have the perfect game

That is the question though. Will game companies spend the extra money to create these cities? No, with development cost skyrocking they will cut as many corners they can get away with.

It seems the only company that seems to know that big citys ruxor are rockstar. The know what a city is. I like the exploration of a city and don't mind to be lost some time. Its cool that you can explore in a city. Hopefully ffxii citys will be big as well ...

er... ppls The reason why the cities are small is because, they tie in with the story the bigger the city, the more people will be there, which will attract SIN, well i think squaresoft did that on purpose, and pretty smart of them to do so
