Ok here it is.They will be making big changes on FFXI. For starters,youll need the HDD, yup,its coming to America. Next they are implementing two new classes(Samurai and Ninja). Plus clan on clan battles. Heres the doozy,a new boss that opens up a storyline in the game. Yes,defeat the current baddie and another will show up thats starts a storyline .
No more mindless hack and slash!!! From what I heard the storyline will make all other FF stories look tame. All we have to do is wait. |

heh i cant wait  some new news to me like the boss thing  i just cant wait might as well get it on PS2 cause i wanna go on FFXI, cause it looks kinda cool and i wanna play GTA4 (rumoured online) when it comes out |

| FF got to where it is now through great storylines, well developed characters, and cool butt kicking. I hate how there making such radical changes like making online games, sequals, and now the need for HDD's. I think square needs to back track a bit. |

Well the raw fact of the matter is MMORPGS > RPGS. I would much rather do anything I want in a world than be force-fed story book plots.
Am I the only person who plans to play the PC version? I am repulsed by the idea of playing a large scale RPG on the PS2 :/.
I don't think I'll ever get around to buying a HDD. It just doesn't feel right playing multiplayer games on a PS2, when I have a comp 9x times as powerful and with better communication abilitys... I'll stay as far away from a Massive online GTA game as physically possible. That will attract the largest legion of PKing jackass nerds who think they are all elite gangsters sence the early days of Ultima Online. |

I think it is the idea of playing a MMORPGS on the PS2 that make it so appealing E.E. Sure the PC will have the power and memory,but the PC version will not be out till 2004. For some people that wait is too long.
AS for the HDD,its a gimmie for anyone wanting to play online on the console. Yes,people will buy it. As for GTA online,thats a toss up. Ill wait on that one. |
