Okay, I did like that stoopid strategy guide said. I caught all seven butterflies at both locations after several retries and a few red butterfly encounters and got a couple of Elixirs for my half an hours' work. What did I do wrong? Did catching a red butterly, even after a retry, hurt my changes at getting the sigil? Or, someone suggested that in order to get the sigil, you must have the airship (and increased red butterflies) to do so? Can someone please clear this up? Has anyone succeeded?

I dont think anyone has done this. No one that i know that has played the game has liked Kimarhi. But to help you out, you have to catch all the blue butterflys without touching any red butterflys. So retrying might have been what screwed it up. Sorry, looks like its back to the drawing board.

Hey, I like Kimahri.

It's just that the mini-game to get his sigil is so annoying. It took me about 1034 tries to get it.

You CAN'T touch a red butterfly, otherwise your chances to get the sigil are pretty slim. It IS still possible to get it if you touch it, but it's rare.

i like kimahri but ever used him unless i had too he pretty suks in the game he isn't needed at all to beat the game.

Kim is pretty cool story-wise, but not very useful in battles.
