How many games do you have to play before you get Wakka's next overdrive? I've already gotten the airship and most of the side quest items. I play blitzball all the time. Shouldn't I have it yet?

Im not sure, even the strategy guide dosen't give exact numbers about that.

In order to get his overdrives, you need to participate and win in the tournaments, not the league. The tournaments will randomly have them placed in.
