Default  Seymour Natus - need help

Ok, so I'm stuck at this mutated Seymour thing (you know, after the trial and the high-tech temple), and I just can't seem to beat him.
I heard that I should try to get the spell reflect, but I need 6 more s.lvls with Yuna to get it.
I've been trying to kill some monsters around there but right now my PS2 is overheated
So, is there a way to beat Seymour without reflect, or do I have to keep levelling up until I get that spell?

Reflect does help alot, but there is an easier way. I know Seymour kills your Aeons in one hit, but you ALWAYS get at least one shot off. So, before the battle, get your Aeons and your characters overdrives up... all of them. Then, go into battle and let loose. Don't waste turns talking to Seymour. If you have hastaga, use it. If not, use haste. And always keep your HP high. Never let it turn yellow. That's all I guess... it worked for me anyway.

I did it!
I beat him, and I only spent 15 minutes to get reflect
With reflect, the only scary thing was the desperado attack from the little flying thing..
It only used that attack once though.

Well i tried that but that little loser keeps using break on my charactors..... who all have stone ward armor items..... and keep geting petrified and before i can do anything that little thing shatters them so they are gone and i CANT REPLACE THEM!!! i have tried everything and keep giting the living crap beat outta me....... if i could just be able to kill that little thing 4 times then it is gone for good because each time you kill it it absorbs less and less HP from seymour but before i could kill it he shattered two of my guys and then petrified auron and then it was game over..........

Just attack mortibody or use magic on them. That's all! He's very easy you don't need to use the overdrives of your aeons.Don't forget to heal your members.

Keep attacking the Mortibody (the hand thing) and when it's HP runs out it sucks a bunch of HP out of Seymour. Just keep repeating this several times (healing yourself every so often), try and save your Overdrives till near the end of the Battle.

If you have moderately strong magics then you shouldn't have much problem.

I am not for the whole aeon kamikazi aspect. It will lower their feelings for you and then they won't do as much overkills and critical damage. Just train your characters good and make sure you don't sacrifice your aeons ...
