around 100 hours for me, just gotta beat Yiazamat, i usually turn it on, play for 10-15 mins, get bored and end up going to bahamut to watch the stunning ,return of the jedi rip-off, ending, if only to cheer at balthier's one-liners,
"your more of a supporting role"
"fran, please....."
gotta love the dry wit |

| I beat FFXII pretty quickly, as well. I believe I had some 47 hours on it upon completion, but that was basically a straight play-through, meaning I didn't chase down any secrets or attempt at the license board (although it was nicely filled-out). And in the same instance, my friend had 60+ hours on it in the same fashion and was only at the part where you have to find the path out of the jungle or whatever. |

Oooooh. Final Fantasy XII, my eternal vice. Let's see...
If we count the time I put into the Japanese version that I imported in March of 2006, as well as the time I put into the version I um...acquired about thirty days prior to launch. Oh, and we mustn't forget the International Zodiac Job System, which I also own, all of my saves and joint excursions through the game with my friends (I would not let them not play it), were looking at...oh...around 600 hours.
No, my friends, I s*** you not. |

Nice!
How was the job system, playing as a knight etc? Also what was the trail thing like- battling endless monsters and culminating in a battle with the judges? |

I liked Drace before, just from the game. She was awesome! Didn't have a big enough part, if you ask me. But after that final Trial Mode battle...

I just finished it, it took 86 hours. I missed some hunts and espers, but didn't feel like grinding for like 10 hours just for a bunch of optional stuff. I 'll probably get everything on the next playthrough.
Final battles didn't take long though, I settled myself for an evening of frantically reviving, healing and slashing my way through way to many bosses, sub-bosses and transformations of bosses, but after 70 minutes I was watching the ending movie...
What is this Trail mode you are talking about Blitzballer? Some extra content or a new version of the game? |
