hi all.
its been a while, and e-yes. i've been playing almost 108 hours.
I defeated Yunelesca, and have started the side quests (mainly celestial weapon gathering).
and during this side quest (the desert and the cacti stone/sphere/ needles etc) i have a desire to get one thing in particular ..
NO-ENCOUNTERS.
so, where do i get this purifying salt :
if i get it, do i need only 1 character to equip it, or :
and
double ap or triple, or better yet
any good tips ?
and lastly (today anyways)
seems like the cacti sidequest took me forever to figure out, and is this game just begining : or am i really almost finished. i mean, every time i see sin, yet defeat it, it returns like Seymore. (wtf). so, im just enjoying it, but also getting attacked and its taking forever to get just my 1st sidequest finished |

I did this last night and am enjoying my Peaceful Ring. Only one char needs to have a Peaceful item equipped, so once you have Salts look in Customize to see what you can make it with. You have Capture weapons right? If yes, then...
You need to catch FOUR of each of the following Dragons.
- Vouivre (Mi'hen Highroad - Old Road North or South)
- Lamashtu (Djose Highroad - one screen up from beach)
- Kusariqqu (Thunder Plains South or North)
- Mushusshu (Bikanel Island - Sanubia Desert East)
- Nidhogg (Mt.Gagazet - Trail, north of the entrance)
When you have these done go back to the Monster Arena dude in the east part of the Calm Lands and you'll unlock Fafnir (guy my kicked my ass :P) and get x99 Purifying Salts. |

thanks "chocobobo". (reminds me of a friend at belle-square).
and
-Jazz. that disk breaking sounds like an omen for not finishing. like forever being in the vast and wonderful game itself. (can you return it for a new one, or is your ps2(3) broken. ?
and
was that in a ps3 ?
ive never heard of any disks breaking (ever, really, this is the 1st). |

No prob Lost. I
have the same kinda problem with RPGs, cept my discs don't break, I just stop playing near endings. I don't want to finish them because if I restart, I'll have something to look forward to. |

Im the only person you heard that broake a game disk ( thats a sucky thing to be remembered for) It was in a PS2 and it got way to scratched up. Because all the scratches i couldn't trade or sale it.
When i was at the end of FFX my sis bought SO3 and i started playing that. Then when i finihed that i decided to go back to FFX, i found it under my bed with mad scratches and it wouldnt play |

well, for those discs that are so far gone there is still ONE thing left they can do.
if you have a "Dremel" tool (or similar) you can affix them to the bit (on one side only) and when it reaches higher rpms, send it down the street or just about anywhere outside b/c they will travel like the raging cacti and be so far gone or explode by its own revolutions
p.s. wear safety protection always (goggles, gloves, leather everywhere)
and
sort of on this thread.
is there a list of all the "steals" we can get from the monsters (and the location of those monsters-steals) anywhere ? |
