And by which I mean completted FF12. Not the other thing.
I just finished it. Now, I can go back and start again knowning where everything is, because I found so many things that I had missed just before the end of the game... Like elite Marks for one thing... I had to walk everywhere for the longest time because I couldn't find a warp stone vendor, for instance.
So yeah, anyone else? Or do i win the race? |

| The last one is quite nasty. I managed to do it pretty much without any ultimate weapons (Except for Balthier's Gun, I got the best gun from the antlion in the mines) And I had circlets which I picked up from some enemy in the big lighthouse, but everything else was off the shelves of the shops, which actually was sort of good, because my rubber suit came in handy quite often when I got zapped by lightning. |

| Yeah, I finally sat down about 12:00 last night and beat it.......I had over 120 hours on that game, but everyone had every license and I had all their ultimate weapons, & Summons. But that final boss was extremely easy. but, I will admit, Basch with that Zodiac Spear hurt him ALOT. |

Well yeah he wouldn't be too hard if I'd done that. When it when immune to physical though my casters were just too weak to stand it's attacks and I just had to keep dying and raising for about two straight minutes. It was rough. But then I hit it with 2 consecutive 11-12 quickening combos and down she goes.
Just as a note, did anyone have the zodiac escutceon, and if so, is it anywhere near as awsome as the Aegis shield is in this? That bloody shield probably blocked 4 or 5 game ending lethal magic blows for me. I wub it! |

I just beat the game earlier this morning. Took about an hour and a half with all the cutscenes and succession boss fights leading up to the ultimate boss. He was quite easy... I just had Vaan's gambit on to spam X-pots and he went down without too much trouble.
I wasted time last night leveling my 3 low-leveled characters (Penelo, Fran, Balthier) to get to level 40 to match with my normal characters (Ashe, Basch,a nd Vaan), but it turns out I didn't need to as I never ended up switching any of the members out. |

| Ah, see, I consider it a failure of my strategy if I have to use a restorative item of any kind. |
