Basic Post  Most Useful Aeon

Which Aeon did you find most useful?

I'm going with the Magus Sisters. Not the easiest Aeon to get (or the most likely to do what you say), but IMO, once you figure out how they tend to react when you give them orders, they are a pretty powerful one (if not the most powerful).

Second to that I'd pick Yojimbo, because if you were lucky enough to get Zanmato...instant death.

I always found Anima to be the most useful, personally. A pretty dependable 99,999 once you got Yuna's stats up high enough.

That said, after a certain point, I didn't find aeons to be useful at all. But then, the limit breaks we got in the U.S. version of FFX were teh suck.

If you'd both got your thinking heads on, you'd put Yojimbo first. I managed to raise my relationship status with him to full, and I got Zanmato every time. It killed all the Dark Aeons and pretty much every opponent I used him in. It got boring unless you had a purpose to want to win loads of fights, such as the Sphere Grid, but I didn't bother, I just finished the game with him quite easily for the Sphere Grid was useless to me when Yuna was good and well.

Couldn't be arsed with it. I'm right conservative when it comes to spending my money in a roleplaying game, and that was too much of it.

Well, since we in the US didn't have Dark Aeons to contend with, building up Yojimbo wasn't that much of a priority with me... That said, I used Shiva a lot..along with Bahamut

At the moment (before I have Anima, Yojimbo, Magus Sisters), I find Bahamut the 'most useful'. Just cause he's the most powerful, and non-elemental.

Only need to give him Haste now though, he is kinda slow.

(I re-started FFX a while ago, just cause I missed the first temple destruction sphere (noob) and there was Dark Valefor in the way.)

Before you got the Aeon Soul (I waited till Remiem Temple to fight her and I did that only once I got the Shippy thing anyway), I'd say Shiva because she had the Ability to Heal herself a decent amount. Ixion and Ifrit can but only with their crappy 'Thunder' and 'Fire'. So she was dead handy.
